WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Clinic

We maintain a federally-funded WIC clinic to serve low-income and at-risk populations. Our WIC clinic provides income-based programs to more than 100 participants daily. We supply free nutrition education, supplemental foods and assistance to mothers with infants. This helps prevent health problems during an infant’s critical phases of growth and development. Our clinic holds weekly breastfeeding classes, general nutrition classes, high-risk classes and lactation consultations. We also have a full-time nutritionist on staff.

By partnering with different agencies, we also offer parenting and literacy classes. Clients are referred to other programs for immunizations, smoking cessation, health care, dental care, day care and other services as needed.

My daughter and I had a great experience at your WIC clinic. The women there are very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all our questions. We didn’t feel rushed or hurried, even though we took a while. We are very grateful and appreciate your services very much.
